  • If you think I got skills, this comedy angle is the easiest thing for me to do (and we've prepped it for 20 years)

    that said, I'm going all in on this: to keep the brand/me/ip pure, I turned down gigs with kind of everyone.



    And then I had to see what Project 2025 and the AI Safety collapse -- they suck, that's fine -- was going to look like.


    The ACLUs, etc., are next to go, btw. I bailed on that ship last summer.

  • Here's the rub

    I had to go all in: Liquidated everything except the guitars.


    But I can't pop my head up on the news just yet (that is discussed in email) and what isn't helping this week is that the repo man grabbed (over, like, $500) the entire archive (20 years), plus the emails, and the infrastructure.


    point is: we're scrappy and used to this. but we're on fumes and trying to keep this possibility open for comedians.

I am not a stand up. But I tell the backstage $$ story here. (#Assholes.)

And I once heckled Stanhope so hard in Kentucky he brought me on stage to argue about libertarian pizza parlors. This is probably where I say I’m 7 years sober.

To get my PTSD under control after the shooting and the threat against the students -- the rumor was bomb; I have no idea, we had to evacuate for the semester -- I had to hop on a stage last year. It worked.
